Paula Madisonβs story is one that typifies modern global society: born in Harlem, New York, her family's history is defined by a mix of African, Chinese, and Jamaican heritages.
In 2011, she left her position as Executive Vice President of Diversity at NBC, and set out to search for her Chinese ancestry (Finding Samuel Lowe). Paula's findings encouraged her to expand her ancestral journey, and Plantain had the pleasure of helping her learn more about three key family figures with ties to the Caribbean.
