1906, Clarendon: Francis Lowe & Co, tea and spirits
1906, St Ann: Thomas Alexander Lowe, a teacher
1907, St Andrew: James Lowe, land
The first Lowes to apply for “shop” related licences are Pat Lowe (1910, Kingston, petroleum licence) and J. E. Lowe (1911, St Andrew, produce licence).

1913, Clarendon: Samuel, William and Edward Lowe
William and Edward do not expand as much as Samuel. They continue in Clarendon until 1922 (a William Lowe appears in St Ann in 1924 (for one year) and another in 1932 in Kingston) and 1932, respectively. The next Lowe is a Thomas Lowe (1915).
Over the next few years, Samuel, however, expands to Stewarton and Eden (1915); Belmont, Dry Harbour, Smokey Hole and Rock (1917).
Handing over and entering St Ann parish
1919, Clarendon: George Lowe applies for a Pertroleum licence in Eden, Mocho.
1920, Clarendon: Spirit License Transferred from Samuel Lowe, Rock, Mocho, to George Lowe, Eden, Mocho.
On December 27th, 1920, Samuel marries Ho Shui Ying (Ho Swee Yinn) in Kingston. Almost exactly one year after he applies for his first licence in St Ann, operating as Samuel Lowe and Brothers.
1921, St Ann: Transfer of Spirit License from James Hoo Sang to Samuel Lowe, Philip Lowe (Hin Shu), John Chin Low, most certainly Johnson Lowe (Sih Chiu; Leslie’s father).
1922, Clarendon: The last time Samuel Lowe is issued a licence in Clarendon
1928 - onwards, St Ann: Leslie and Samuel are very active
